Kamunyu Njoroge hold an MA (Econs) degree (University of Nairobi), BA (Econs), First Class Honours, degree (University of Nairobi), and ACSI designation from Charted Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI), UK. He has also, among others, undertaken an Executive Course in Pension Fund Investment and Management at Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, USA.
Mr. Njoroge is a career financial markets professional with over fifteen years of experience in the financial markets. He has now served at the Authority for 12 years at various capacities including as Manager, Investor Education and Public Awareness, Head of Special Projects, Manager, Corporate Communications and Market Development, and as Assistant Manager, Market Development. Previously he worked with the Retirement Benefits Authority (RBA) as an Economist at the Research and Policy Analysis Department, the Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE) as Assistant Manager, Research & Development Department, and as a Research Associate with the Institute of Policy Analysis and Research (IPAR). Mr. Njoroge was one of the 50 young Kenyans who developed a vision for the country's youth under the auspices of Institute of Economic Affairs (IEA) in 2002.
