CHRP Andrew Muthabuku – profile

CHRP Andrew Muthabuku is the Senior Manager – People & Culture. He joined the Capital Markets Authority on 1st July 2011 where he is charged with the responsibility of providing strategic guidance and leadership to the People & Culture functions.

Andrew is a Certified Human Resources Practitioner (CHRP) with over 20 years’ demonstrated experience and success in the Human Resources profession. He joined the Authority from the Kenya Airports Authority (KAA) where he worked for over 15 years and rose through the ranks to the position of Manager – Human Resources Services, a position he last held before joining the Capital Markets Authority.

He holds a Master of Business Administration –Human Resources from Kenyatta University and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration from Moi University. He is among the first pioneer students of the Higher Diploma in Human Resources Management acquired from the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM) in 1997. He is also a registered and practicing member of the Institute of Human Resource Management. Andrew also holds a Diploma in Change Management from Oxford Business School, UK. He is also a certified change practitioner with PROSCI.

He has vast expertise in Human Capital matters acquired through diverse training, industry practice and Human Resources Networks. Andrew is very passionate about positioning Human Resources (HR) as a strategic contributor and catalyst towards organizational success.
