Jeremiah Yego – Profile

Jeremiah is the Principal Supply Chain Management Officer heading the Procurement Function. Jeremiah has fifteen (15) years’ experience in supply chain management having joined the Authority in August 2017 from Consolidated Bank where he held the position of Procurement Manager. Prior to that he worked at Family Bank as a Procurement Officer.

His primary objective has been to be ensure that the supply chain functions efficiently and effectively towards meeting business objectives, customer needs, and regulatory requirements. Some of his key responsibilities have been but not limited to; developing and implementing supply chain strategies, managing relationships with suppliers and other stakeholders, optimizing inventory levels, overseeing procurement activities, and ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of products and services that deliver significant business value.

Jeremiah is passionate about manging costs in the acquisition of goods and service without compromising on quality where all stakeholders benefit. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Business Administration from Strathmore University, is a licensed member of the Kenya Institute of Supplies Management (KISM) and a certified member of The Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS). Jeremiah also completed the Senior Manager Course offered by the Kenya School of Government with a Credit.
